Cinnamon fruit Porridge
Cinnamon fruit porridge can be a nutritious and delicious option for breakfast or as a snack. The combination of oats, fruit, and cinnamon provides a good balance of carbohydrates, fiber, and natural sweetness to start your day.
Serves 1
Ingredients:
40g whole porridge oats
1/2 – 1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tbsp essenKal seed mix – including flaxseeds, sesame seeds and pumpkin seeds
Plus any berries e.g. blackberries, blueberries. Berries are parKcularly high in anKoxidants, vital for recovery
Method:
- Place the oats in a pan and cover with water.
- Bring to the boil then gently simmer, stirring until the porridge thickens and the oats soften.
- Stir the cinnamon, seed mix and fruit into the porridge or just scatter on top.
